Dr.Daulatrao Aher Engineering College is one of the few colleges in the university, under the guidance of Dr.Ashok Gujar -Founder Chairman where the overall development of the student is considered as the chief objective and carried out with great passion. Along with academics we encourage sports activities and also give equal priorities. Our college has taken great care to appoint a well-qualified and experienced Physical Education Director Prof.Ayub Kacchi whose unstinted effort the college has been winning laurels in Sports and Games in Zonal and state level. Great importance is given to pursue excellence in sports in our College. Our students regularly participate in all sports competitions and bring laurels to the institution and themselves. The college is equipped with the necessary infrastructure for developing growing talents and sports personalities. Our sports facilities are top-of-line among professional institutions. The atmosphere and surroundings of the institution are suitable for developing sports personalities and sports activities. Every year, we organize Annual Sports Week function for encouraging and honoring the best sports students. Also various University level tournament’s successfully organized by the college in the past.
FACILITIES The sports infrastructure comprises facilities for indoor and outdoor games. There are well-groomed outdoor play fields for Basketball, Cricket, Football, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, Basketball, Volleyball, Handball, Athletics etc. and indoor play fields for Table tennis, Chess and Carom for boys and girls.
ACHIEVEMENTS The college has very impressive record of performance in State and National level sports events. Every year, our college has introduced more and more sports persons. Our College students represent the State and university level tournaments in the different sports & games as well as got selected in university teams various sports. Our students have won many prestigious tournaments and received the overall championship trophies.
