Technology being ever-increasingly complex, there has never been a more exciting time to pursue a Degree in Electronics and telecommunication Engineering. The Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering course of institute with an intake capacity of 60 students. The Course at the UG levels is designed to give the students both the theoretical and practical background in all frontier areas of Electronics and telecommunication engineering so that they are constantly aware of the rapid changes taking place in this field. The focus of the department is to produce good graduates with strong fundamentals in electronics and telecommunication domain. Students are encouraged to join professional societies with a view to improve their communication skills and technical knowledge.

The department has a total of 10 faculty members with various specializations. All the faculty members are well qualified with outstanding teaching experience.  The Faculty members have published technical articles in reputed journals and they are also presenting papers and participating in the various technical seminars and continuing education programs. Invited lectures by experts drawn from Industries and academic field are arranged regularly. The department has excellent infrastructure with state of the art equipment and software tools. The department has a strong R & D culture.

Mission:

1.To enhance creativity in the field of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering through quality learning-teaching, industry-institute interaction, value-added courses and projects.
2.To create professionals with strong theoretical foundation, good analytical aptitude and entrepreneurial mindset.
3.To enrich student’s ethical and social responsibilities.
 

Program Educational Objectives (PEO's)

Graduates of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering program at DACOE, Karad should be able to utilize the knowledge gained from their academic program to:

1. Solve real-life engineering problems exhibiting a solid foundation in Mathematics, Science and Electronics      and Telecommunication Engineering.
2. Demonstrate good scientific and engineering breadth so as to comprehend, design, analyze and to create a product and optimum solutions in diverse fields.
3. Communicate effectively and interact responsibly with colleagues, clients, employers and the society.
4. Adapt technological and cultural changes through lifelong- learning and higher studies.

 

Program Outcomes(PO's)

Students of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering programme at AGTI’s DACOE, Karad by the time of graduation will demonstrate:

1. Ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering.  
2. An ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. 
3. An ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability.
4. An ability to function on multidisciplinary teams.
5. An ability to identify, formulate and solve engineering problems.
6. An understanding of professional and ethical responsibility.
7. An ability to communicate effectively. 
8. The broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal context.
9. Recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning. 
10. Knowledge of contemporary issues.
11. An ability to use the techniques, skills, and modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice.
12. Ability to adapt changing technological scenarios in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering.
13. Ability to participate and succeed in competitive examinations GATE/IES/GRE/TOFFEL.
14. Ability to use modern electronics instruments that meet the requirements of public safety and offer solutions to the social and environmental concerns.
