The  foundation  of  engineering  education  is  laid  through  the  knowledge  of  basic  science.  The department being an integral and basic part of the college focuses on promoting the discovery and application of scientific knowledge. Our aims to provide a strong foundation for students of first year engineering. The department of General engineering was established in the year 2008. General engineering department includes physics, chemistry, mathematics, professional communication.

Physics is the heart of all engineering branches. It is the study of behavior of real things and natural phenomenon. It provides fundamental understanding of basic principles through theory and practical. Engineering chemistry lab gives knowledge to the student of chemical science and their application and utilization in fields of engineering. The professional communication department focuses on overall development of students.

The department focuses on overall development of students including personality development, communication skills, soft skills, etiquettes and manners. The interactive methods like power point presentation, models, question answering games, videos of certain topics are used in the lecture hall to increase interest of students. The department Provide spacious, well equipped and sophisticated laboratories and workshop to the students to create innovative new technologies.
