The Civil engineering program will serve Connecting link to the nation by providing a quality engineering education that enables students to enter a profession that can improve the civil infrastructure, and economic welfare. Our civil engineering program will maintain a strong emphasis on undergraduate education with the goal that our program will be recognized for quality instruction in civil engineering analysis and design. An important emphasis of the civil engineering program is preparation of students for professional engineering licensure and practice, and we expect that most of our students will pursue this objective following graduation Vision
To Develop Competent Civil Engineers, Capable of Offering Community Services for Nation Building.
Program Education Objectives (PEO's):
Guided by the Mission of the institute and the department, the Civil engineering program is committed to transform students into good human beings, responsible and competent citizens. At the time of graduation, it is expected that our students can: PEO-1: Apply scientific and mathematical principles to solve civil engineering problems. PEO-2: Capable of conceptualizing, planning, designing and constructing Civil Engineering structures based on fundamental principles. PEO-3: Pursue higher education for upgrading knowledge and acquiring state-of-the-art professional skills. PEO-4: Engage in lifelong learning for being strongly committed to quality, safety, reliability and environmental sustainability.
